Welcome to blog number… I don’t know. 8? 9? I have so much fun writing these it’s hard to keep track.
It is almost summer time, and I don’t know about you guys, but I get stir crazy, happy, excited, smiles for days: PUMPED for the summer.
I wanted to dedicate this months blog to June, July, August… oh how I love thee.
Two things I really want to address…
Your/Mine/Our summer body. There isn’t a person on the planet who doesn’t have this line of thought:
“Ok! It’s getting warmer. Awesome. I get to be outside more. Sweet. BBQ’s, the beach (adequate location required), the pool, party’s. I get to wear less clothes… OH BOY. Oh no! I gotta get ready. I have to get tan, I have to do sit-ups! And workout. OH CRAP!”
Fear not! It’s May 1st. There is plenty of time left to get that LGN body.
I wanted to share a new workout system that I am doing that I LOVE!
First. I work out every day…. YEP! I said it, I meant it, I stole your Mama’s credit.
Here is the kicker. I only work out 30 minutes! I KILL IT in that 30 minutes… but it’s so easy to fit into my day, I look forward to it and I am getting results!
I picked 3 areas I want to work on: (Arms, Back, Chest), (Legs) and (Abs). Then my schedule is this: Upper Body, Abs, Lower Body, Abs, Upper Body, Abs, Lower Body, Abs… over and over…
This is a really good 30 day workout…but that’s it. Eventually I will plateau and stop seeing results… but for the month of May… TRY IT OUT! It’s so easy to commit too!
I want to challenge all of you to be active this summer. SERIOUSLY.
Say “yes” to more things. Get out of your house. Meet new people. Meet your neighbors that you have lived next to for months/years!
There is something in the air during the summer that calls for adventure.
GO FIND IT!
Even if you don’t like what you do, at least you experienced and learned and interacted with something other than a screen inside the four walls of your home.
I hope thing ONE and thing TWO (not a Dr. Suess reference) help you out in Summer 2014.
Much love to you all! I’ll check back in with you in 30 days.
